One of the great things about Great Harvest is that they change it up everyday and every month, bringing in new favors of bread and returning some classics. Sure, there's been a few breads that I've bought that I wasn't crazy about, but fresh made bread never truly disappoints. The open door to Caribou either helps or hinders depending on the time of year. The shop is always made up cozy, at least to the best it can due to the store front structure and location. My daughter had the cinnamon twist this time with a satisfied grin pasted on her lips. It turned out to be Marionberry today, which is still delicious. I generally go for the Scruffin of the day when available, crossing my fingers that it'll be the Raspberry White Chocolate. Great Harvest Bread Co is open for pick-up on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am-4:00 pm and Tuesdays and Thursday from 3:00 6:00 p.m. It's not often we step in here due to the gluten issues of my wife and son, so it generally is a real treat. Fundamental Strength provides private and small group fitness training in Linden Hills. Catch a sunset concert at Lake Harriet’s castle-like band shell. Bike the lakeside trails or rent a kayak for a day on the water. Enjoy out-the-door access to the Chain of Lakes and their endless recreations.
